Can I arrange a private bathroom adaptation instead of waiting for a council adaptation?+
Yes. You can arrange and pay for the work with us directly rather than going through a council-funded adaptation process — council routes vary by council and by whether you own or rent, and an assessment of need is generally involved. Arranging it privately means you choose the specification, and dates are agreed with you and confirmed in the written quotation. If you do have an OT recommendation, we can quote against it instead.
What accessibility features can you fit?+
Level-access and low-threshold showers, wet rooms, grab rails fixed into reinforced backing, fold-down shower seats, thermostatic anti-scald controls, slip-resistant safety flooring, comfort-height WCs, easy-reach basins and lever taps. We specify around the person using the room.
How long does an installation take?+
It depends on the existing bathroom and the specification — a bath-to-shower conversion is quicker than a full wet room or accessible refurbishment. The schedule for your job is confirmed in the written quotation before work starts.
Will my home be left in a mess?+
No. Floors and routes are covered, dust is contained, and the bathroom is left fully cleaned. We tidy at the end of every day, not just the end of the job, and we remove all waste.
Do you handle the plumbing and electrics too?+
Yes. We manage the project and coordinate the trades it needs — plumbing, electrics, tiling and making good — so you have one point of contact and one invoice.
Do you offer a guarantee?+
Yes — our installations carry a workmanship guarantee, and the fittings we supply carry their manufacturers' own warranties. The exact terms are set out in your written quotation.
