Bathroom Adaptations Ltd is a specialist installer of walk-in showers, wet rooms and level-access showers, working exclusively across Central Scotland. Every install is managed end-to-end by our own team — surveyor, plumber, tiler, electrician — with a written workmanship guarantee on top of manufacturer warranties.

What we do (and don't)

We focus on one thing: bathroom adaptations for older and disabled customers. We are not a general bathroom fitter who occasionally does a grab rail. Every member of the team works on adaptation projects every week, which is why we can quote accurately, spot OT-specification details others miss, and finish on the day we said we would.

Council and OT-led work

A significant share of our work comes through council Schemes of Assistance and occupational therapist referrals across Falkirk, Stirling, Clackmannanshire, West Lothian, Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire. We provide quotes itemised in the format councils ask for, matched to the OT's specifications, ready for submission.

• Thermostatic anti-scald mixer valves — non-negotiable
• Toughened safety glass on all screens and enclosures
• Grab rails fixed to studs or noggins, never plasterboard
• Continuous tanking membrane on every wet room and level-access install
• Tanking manufacturer 10-year warranty on qualifying installs
• HMRC VAT zero-rating handled at the quote stage where eligible
