Is a walk-in shower suitable for someone with reduced mobility?
Usually yes, provided they can safely lift a foot over a low tray lip and stand or transfer onto a seat. If a foot lift is unreliable, a wheelchair or a shower chair on castors is used, or a carer assists the transfer, a level-access shower or wet room is the better fit.
